Nitrogen Absorption Rate in Kappaphycus alvarezii with a Longline System in the IMTA (Integrated MultiTrophic Aquaculture) Area at Ekas Bay

The rapid growth of the aquaculture sector can indirectly lead to accumulation unresolved waste in sea. IMTA cultivation system is one innovations developed activities overcome aquatic environmental problems, such as from feed used activities. concept combines several species with different trophic levels, fish that are fed and combined seaweed absorb inorganic materials water. purpose this study was determine level nitrogen absorption Kappaphycus alvarezii using a longline area waters Ekas Bay. This Randomized Block Design (RAK) 4 treatments each treatment divided into groups (North, South, East, West). given planting at depths, namely 50 cm, 100 150 200 cm. results showed reared an integrated depths gave significantly absolute weight values ranging 120,31 grams – 195,58 specific rates ranging 2.67% - 4, 35%, but did not have significant effect on rate uptake all treatments, highest value depth 2 meters. So researchers suggest meters Bay, East Lombok area.
